Job Summary:

As a Vivint Sales Representative, you'll play a crucial role in connecting homeowners with cutting-edge home security and automation solutions. Your responsibilities will include going door-to-door, engaging potential customers in conversations, and effectively promoting Vivint's innovative products and services. By understanding their needs, you’ll present tailored packages, clearly explaining features, pricing, and showcasing the technology in action. Building rapport and closing sales on the spot, you'll actively generate leads and turn them into satisfied customers through personalized, in-person presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

-Canvassing neighborhoods: Actively visiting homes within a designated territory to identify potential customers.

-Initiating conversations: Approaching homeowners and engaging them in discussions about their home security needs.

-Product demonstrations: Presenting Vivint's security systems and smart home features, including live demonstrations where possible.

-Needs assessment: Understanding each customer's unique security concerns and tailoring a package accordingly.

-Contract signing: Completing necessary paperwork and securing customer signatures for service agreements.

-Ability to learn quickly the following systems: MS Outlook, Excel, Salesforce, Domo, and any other Vivint systems as needed

Independent Sales Consultant

Are you a self-motivated, entrepreneurial-minded individual with a passion for sales and flexibility? We are seeking Independent Sales Consultants to join our growing team on a 1099 contractor basis.

As an Independent Sales Contractor, you will promote and refer customers to Kentro Tec’s services using your existing network, especially within the real estate and homeowner community. This role does not require door-to-door sales. Instead, you will focus on building relationships, educating clients, and guiding them toward the right solutions — including Vivint Smart Home systems and AT&T services.

This is a commission-only opportunity. You’ll enjoy the freedom to work your own hours, generate your own leads, and control your own success.

Position Title: Independent 1099 Contractor – Independent Sales Consultant (Commission-Based)

Location: Remote / Field-Based

Reports To: Kentro Tec Leadership Team

Work Type: Flexible Hours/ Not an employee of Kentro Tec, Vivint, or AT&T

Key Responsibilities:

-Identify potential customers through your personal and professional network, with a focus on realtors, homeowners, and new movers

-Educate clients on the benefits and features of Vivint Smart Home systems and AT&T Wireless/Internet (AT&T may be mentioned verbally only)

-Facilitate customer interest by generating leads, scheduling consultations, or completing order forms when needed

-Maintain accurate records of leads and submitted deals using company-approved systems

-Build and maintain client relationships through clear communication and consistent follow-up

-Stay informed about current promotions, product offerings, and compliance guidelines

-Maintain a high level of professionalism and brand integrity in all client interactions

-Adhere strictly to brand usage policies, including restrictions on the distribution of AT&T marketing materials

-Represent Kentro Tec with integrity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

-Previous sales experience preferred but not required

-Self-starter with strong communication and negotiation skills

-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

-Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

This is not a W-2 position. You will be working as a 1099 independent contractor.
