Job Summary:

As a Vivint Sales Representative, you'll play a crucial role in connecting homeowners with cutting-edge home security and automation solutions. Your responsibilities will include going door-to-door, engaging potential customers in conversations, and effectively promoting Vivint's innovative products and services. By understanding their needs, you’ll present tailored packages, clearly explaining features, pricing, and showcasing the technology in action. Building rapport and closing sales on the spot, you'll actively generate leads and turn them into satisfied customers through personalized, in-person presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Canvassing neighborhoods: Actively visiting homes within a designated territory to identify potential customers.

  • Initiating conversations: Approaching homeowners and engaging them in discussions about their home security needs.

  • Product demonstrations: Presenting Vivint's security systems and smart home features, including live demonstrations where possible.

  • Needs assessment: Understanding each customer's unique security concerns and tailoring a package accordingly.

  • Price quoting and negotiation: Presenting pricing options and negotiating terms to close the sale.

  • Contract signing: Completing necessary paperwork and securing customer signatures for service agreements.

  • Lead generation: Identifying qualified leads and scheduling follow-up appointments when necessary.

  • Customer relationship building: Establishing positive connections with potential customers to foster trust and loyalty.

  • Sales reporting: Tracking sales activity, performance metrics, and reporting to sales managers.

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED equivalent

  • Prior sales experience is a plus

  • Ability to work designated shift full-time

  • Proficient with basic computer functions and ability to utilize software, data bases, scripts, and other tools appropriately

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Ability to learn quickly the following systems: MS Outlook, Excel, Salesforce, Domo, and any other Vivint systems as needed
